Mission

Welcome to Hannah Hunt therapy practice. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate their challenges and achieve mental wellness. By providing a safe and supportive space, I empower clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in a non-judgmental environment. Together, we work towards growth, healing, and personal development.

Method

Using a collaborative approach together we work out a plan for your therapy sessions. I blend a mix of talking therapy in a creative way using hypnosis, sand tray and EMDR depending on your wishes. I also offer walk-talk sessions should you wish to combine therapy with the outdoors.

Credentials

Certifications

Hypnotherapy

I hold a diploma in clinical analytical hypnotherapy, from The Devon School of Hypnotherapy. This is a 10 month course with classroom and clinical hours.

EMDR

I hold a certificate in EMDR to be used in combination with hypnosis from John Dewer school of hypnotherapy.

Walk-talk

I offer walk-talk therapy sessions in the South Hams area. Being outside in nature has many benefits and combined with talking therapy, these sessions can help people to make deep connections to themselves.

Talking therapy

I am currently training to be a counsellor with The Devon Counselling College. This will give me a level 4 diploma allowing me to practice as counsellor. I will then going on to train in Gestalt psychotherapy in 2026.

Sand Tray and creative tools

I use sand tray therapy and creative tools such as nesting dolls, buttons, crystals, pebbles and other pieces to help people explore their emotions. By using these objects the emotional mind can process thoughts and memories allowing for change to occur.
